देउवालाई २ वर्ष कैद सजाय
भ्रष्टाचार नियन्त्रण शाही आयोगले पूर्व प्रधानमन्त्री शेरबहादुर देउवा र तत्कालीन मन्त्री प्रकाशमान सिंहलाई मेलम्ची खानेपानी आयोजनामा भ्रष्टाचार गरेको ठहर गर्दै दुई वर्ष कैद र ४ करोड ५० लाख रुपैया जरिवानाको सजाय अहिले केही बेरअघि सुनाएको छ। (BREAKING NEWS on 3:43pm NST)
भ्रष्टाचार नियन्त्रण शाही आयोगले पूर्व प्रधानमन्त्री शेरबहादुर देउवा र तत्कालीन मन्त्री प्रकाशमान सिंहलाई मेलम्ची खानेपानी आयोजनामा भ्रष्टाचार गरेको ठहर गर्दै दुई वर्ष कैद र साढे ४ करोड रुपैयाँ जरिवाना र सोही बमोजिमको रकम बिगो असुल उपर गर्ने निर्णय अहिले केही बेरअघि सुनाएको छ।
तत्कालीन सचिव टीकादत्त निरौला र मेलम्ची आयोजनाका प्रमुख ध्रुवबहादुर श्रेष्ठलाई पनि सोही बराबरको रकम र बिगो असुल उपर गर्ने फैसला भएको छ।
फैसलाको विरोधमा प्रजातान्त्रिक काँग्रेसका कार्यकर्ताहरु आयोग परिसरमा भेला भएका छन्। त्यहाँ तनाव उत्पन्न भएको र झडप हुनसक्ने बताइएको छ। उहाँहरुलाई आजै जेल चलान गर्ने तयारी भइरहेको छ। देउवालाई गत वैशाख १४ गते मध्यरातमा उहाँकै निवासबाट र सिंहलाई पनि वैशाख ५ गते उहाँकै निवासबाट शाही आयोगले अनुसन्धानका लागि हिरासतमा लिएको हो। (Update: 415pm NST)
कुरा बुझ्दा शेरबहादुर देउवा, प्रकाशमान सिंह, टीकादत्त निरौला र ध्रुवबहादुर श्रेष्ठ प्रत्येकलाई कूल नौ करोड जरिवाना र दुई वर्ष कैदको फैसला भएको रहेछ। आयोजनाका इञ्जिनीयर दीपककुमार झा र ठेकेदार जीपछिरिङ लामालाई भने जनही एक वर्ष जेल सजाय र जरिवाना र बिगो गरी कूल साढे ४ करोड सजाय सुनाइएको रहेछ।
दुई बर्ष एकदम थोरै भएन र ??????

And moreover to Deuba..yes thats his rest-place now, Nepal no longer require any crrupt ruler..all should be dragged down one by one..and put them behind bar. The fisrt thing is to elliminate curruption then we dont need to go for look peace. The present condition of Nepal, cause of crruption. Every currupt ruler should be punished..so no one dare to do again…play with Nepali People..

2 years pani kam vayo ani 9 karod pani kam. jhandai 50 karod khayeko ma jamma 9 karod ta jyadai thorai vayo.
Aba Girija, Sujata, Makune, Gobinde, Khume haru lai pani karwahi garnu parchha. Ani tini haru bata asuleko paisa Rolpa Rukum tiraka jantako lagi pathaunu parchha.

Deuba and his team deserved it but the Royal Comission has no constitutional background as emerged from the pocket of the king bypassing all other constitutional functionaries! The king who can appoint a mastermind killer ( Jagat Gauchan) as his minister….the action to Deuba and his team just seems a revenge than a justice…The king himself is not cleaner than Deuba.

I do agree with “Nam ma ke chha?” but why Deuba accepted the PM when King appointed him last time since that was itself unconstitutional appointment. he has been denying to speak to Royal Commission saying “unconstitutional” is he not speaking with 2 tounge ?

Job of chamchas is to feed their masters and these chamchas fed their masters a lot - from constitution to democracy inclusive. If chamchas dare to eat, this reward is what they are awarded. Fate of collaborators is the same everywhere.

Gemanji, actually at the moment everybody was in the race to become PM and Deuba got the chance..Deuba was saying that “raja dayalu hoi baksanchha…gorkhaka rajale nyaya garchhan bhaneko suneko thiye…aja thaha payaen…” sort of words and now I am curious what he would say. BTW, are you Geman or German? because I had a friend called German.
