“प्रधानमन्त्रीको लोभ छाड्नुस्, राष्ट्रपतिको लागि तयार रहनुस्”
पटक-पटक पद मोहमा परी लोकतान्त्रिक आन्दोलनलाई कमजोर पार्दै आएको राजनीतिक दलका नेताहरुलाई प्रधानमन्त्रीको लोभ त्यागेर राष्ट्रपतिका लागि तयार रहन आठ विद्यार्थी संगठनले आग्रह गरेका छन । प्रतिगमन विरुद्ध सञ्चालित आन्दोलनले राजासँग मिलन बिन्दु बन्द गरेको भन्दै विद्यार्थी नेताहरुले राजतन्त्रको अन्त्यका लागि विद्यार्थीहरु टाउकोमा कफन बाँधेर आन्दोलनमा उत्रिइसकेको बताए ।
नगरकोट नरसंहारको विरोधमा आइतबार राजधानीमा आयोजित विरोध र्यालीलाई सम्बोधन गर्दै अखिल नेपाल स्वतन्त्र विद्यार्थी युनियनका अध्यक्ष खिमलाल भट्टर्राईले राजतन्त्र राष्ट्रियताको मात्र नभई शान्ति, प्रजातन्त्र र अग्रगमनको समेत बाधक रहेको बताउदै नेताहरुलाई आग्रह गरे-’अब राष्ट्रपति बन्ने आँट गर्नुस, हामी राजतन्त्रको अन्त्यका लागि टाउकोमा कफन बाँधेर सडकमा उत्रिसकेका छौं ।’
दलहरुले ‘सेरेमोनियल किङ’को स्थान बाँकी भनिरहेको बेला भट्टर्राईले विद्यार्थीहरुलाई कुनै प्रकारको राजतन्त्र स्वीकार्य नहुने बताए । उनले सात दलका नेताहरुलाई संबैधानिक राजतन्त्रको रट नलगाउन आग्रह पनि गरे । ‘अब विद्यार्थीले गणतन्त्र बाहेक अन्य कुनै तन्त्र स्वीकार गर्ने छैनन’ उनले भने ।
अनेरास्ववियु एकिकृतका महासचिव प्रकाश पोखरेलले माओवादीद्धारा गरिएको एकतर्फी युद्धविरामलाई सम्बोधननै नगरी पुनः हतियार उठाउन राज्यले बाध्य बनाएको बताए । ‘शान्तिपूर्ण अवतरणको प्रयासमा रहेको माओवादीलाई भड्काएर राजा ओसामाबिन लादेनको पथमा हिडेका छन’ उनले भने ।

नेपाल विद्यार्थी संघका अध्यक्ष महेन्द्र शर्माले राजा र राजनीतिक दलको मिलनबिन्दुनै नरहेको बताए । शाही नेपाली सेनालाई विघटन गरी राष्ट्रिय सेनामा बदल्नु पर्ने तर्क गर्दै शर्माले १९ माघ पछि सेनालाई जनताको सुरक्षामा खटिने भन्दा पनि कसरी तारो बनाउने भनेर तालिम दिन थालिएकाले नगरकोट जस्ता हत्याकाण्ड अझै बढ्नसक्ने खतरा औल्याए ।
सभाअघि आठ विद्यार्थी संगठनले मिनभवनबाट विरोध र्याली निकालेका थिए । र्यालीमा राजतन्त्र विरोधी र शाही नेपाली सेनालाई तत्काल विघटन गरी राष्ट्रिय सेनाको गठन गर्न गर्नुपर्ने नारा लगाइएको थियो ।
प्रजातान्त्रिक कांग्रेस समर्थित नेविसंघ, माले समर्थित अनेरास्ववियु, नेपाल क्रान्तिकारी विद्यार्थी युनियन, नेपाल विद्यार्थी मञ्चलगायतका विद्यार्थी संगठनका नेताहरुले सभालाई सम्बोधन गर्दै अब मुलुक गणतन्त्रतिर लम्किसकेको बताए ।

Dear Umesh jee,
In your previous vedeo blug you shooted from back giving the reason of involvement of Maosist in agitation. To support your view you said that they were chanting slogan like Shahi sena murdabad jana sena jindabad. But that was the time when so called Shahi sena killed 11 innocent nepali. And now eight student union are also against the royal Army and demanding for People army. What you say about it?

When all the people are against the brutal Monarchy he is saying that party are ready to talk with killer Gyanendra if he cancel the Municipal Election ani even he said that they will ask Maosist to extend the truce if King agree. How we youth can believe our mother party if they are not consistent with their stand.
Why not to lead the agitation by ourself towards the Republic bypassing or say regardless of what these cowards leader say.

i can not belive that this cunning fellows who have become the tikram are more dangerous and difficult to democracy……….As being the lover of democracy i apperciates the movement for democracy………but i want nepali politics be free from tikram…………
Let’s Put a shame on these mahendra sharma and other tikaram’s . Infact people like mahendra sharma are the burden for future nepal……………so guys come to avoid tikram ,,,,,,,,,a disease in nepali politics………
Say right to right politics…….let’s pressurize mother parties for fair and conducive political enviornment……..

Probably you can represent youth Nepalesee. That’s why you all have responsibility too. What I have seen is that you Nepalese stusents have not full-flaged political identity. Neither you are individual nor you can represent any political identity where multi-party set up is still functioning. You all seems like robot, who can work but is not sufficient by ownself. Republican set up is hard task for all of us. First, You please go and make aware all illeterate Nepalese capable to read and write then give them you pumplet about republican-set up so that they will understand who you are.
Second, You please come out from your illusion that single- party doctrine is not going to function any more, because the dream what you all are opting for, needs massive and peak-point peoples’ participation.
It is going to be long term tug-of-war between feudals and progressive forces. Each and every Nepalese citizen needs to identify ownself about what each person looking for. The zeal of students can not be minimied if they really are striving for the liberation for nepal and Nepalese people.
Pleaase make clear now;
1. What you are going to do if you leaders will make aggrement for present constitutional set up.It is likely to be going that. Royalist are saying that Nepalese constitutiona 1990 is superb one. And, at last, they can surrender if present constitution can save them-especially king.
2. Is there any common creadible forum, made amomg you student organizations, which can forward movement for republican set-up ? I guess , no.
3.Please, be aware that all the negative consequences about royal interventions in your organizations.
4. People are thingking that you are just air-blown ballon of political parties. Please make clear that how way you are determined for what you are saying for.
Presently, student can attract the aspirations of people if they can honestly carry-out for republican Nepal. They have future, so they should be responsible to represent future.
I wish Nepalese student should not fight again and again for full-flaged democracy in Nepal.
