ह्वाइटहाउसअगाडि घन्कियो राजाविरोधी नारा
गत वर्ष माघ १९ को शाही कदमकाविरुध्द वासिङटन डीसीवासी नेपालीहरुले आइतबार एक विरोध र्यालीको आयोजना गर्दै राजतन्त्रको विरोधमा चर्का नाराबाजी गरेका छन् शाही कदमका विरुध्द अन्तराष्ट्रिय जनमत सृजना गर्नका लागि ह्वाइटहाउसअगाडि सम्पन्न विरोध र्यालीमा झण्डै दुई सय नेपालीहरुको सहभागिता रहेको थियो।
उक्त अवसरमा नेपालमा लोकतन्त्र बहाली, मानवअधिकारको ग्यारेन्टी, राजनीतिक बन्दीहरुको बिना शर्त रिहा, सैनिक घेराभित्र गरिन लागेको नगर निर्वाचनको स्थगन गरिनुपर्ने, माओवादी र सात दलबीचको १२ बूँदे सहमतिका आधारमा द्धन्द्ध समाधानका लागि पहल गरिनुपर्ने, प्रेस स्वतन्त्रताको बहाली लगायतका मागको नारा, प्लेकार्ड र व्यानर सहितको जुलुसले ह्वाइटहाउस अगाडि परिक्रमा गरेको थियो।
जुलुसका सहभागीहरुले राजतन्त्रका विरुध्द उत्तेजित नाराबाजी समेत गरेका थिए।
लोकतन्त्रप्रेमी डीसीबासी नेपालीहरुको सक्रियतामा गत वर्षगठन गरिएको डीसी र्याली आयोजक समितिको आहृवानमा सम्पन्न विरोध कार्यक्रममा अमेरिका नेपाल मानवअधिकार समितिका अध्यक्ष डा.बलराम अर्याल, डा. श्याम कार्की, अमेरिका नेपाल सोसाइटीका उपाध्यक्ष विष्णु थापा, एएनएका पूर्व अध्यक्ष कृष्ण निरौला, बाल्टिमोर नेपाली समाजका मोहन थापा, नेपाल मानवअधिकार संगठनका केन्द्रीय सदस्य निलकण्ठ शर्मा लगायतका वक्ताहरुले शाही कदमको विरोध गर्दै नेपालमा लोकतन्त्र स्थापनाका लागि नेपालमा भइरहेको नागरिक आन्दोलनप्रति ऐक्यवद्दता जनाएका थिए।

त्यस्तै एम्नेष्टी इन्टरनेशनलका एसिया प्रशान्त क्षेत्रका निर्देशक टी कुमारले नेपालमा भइरहेको मानवअधिकारको उल्लघंन र प्रेसमाथिको ज्यादतीका विरुध्द अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय रुपमा उठेको विरोधको स्वरलाई अझै सशक्त बनाउनुपर्ने जोड दिनुभएको थियो। उहाँले नेपाली जनताको लोकतान्त्रिक आन्दोलनप्रति अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय ऐक्यवद्धता बढ्दै गइरहेको चर्चा गर्दै अमेरिकी सरकारले नेपाललाई दिइरहेको सैन्य तालिम लगायतका सहयोग बन्द गरी लोकतन्त्र स्थापनाका लागि थप दवाव दिनुपर्ने बताउनुभयो।
डीसी र्यालीलाई ऐक्यवद्दता जनाउन अन्य राज्यहरुबाट समेत केही नेपालीहरु विरोध कार्यक्रममा सहभागी भएका थिए। त्यस क्रममा न्युयोर्कबाट सहभागी हुन आइपुग्नुभएका संजय पराजुलीले पनि ऐक्यवद्दता मन्तव्य प्रकट गर्नुभएको थियो।
सोही अवसरमा जुलुसका सहभागीहरुले लोकतान्त्रिक कविता बाचन गरी कार्यक्रमलाई रोचकता प्रदान गरेका थिए। उक्त अवसरमा कविता वाचन गर्नेहरुमा डा. हरिराज भट्टर्राई, प्रा.मोहन सिटौला, अमेरिका नेपाल सोसाइटीका अध्यक्ष प्रेम संग्रौला, टीका पुन, हृदेश अधिकारी, कृष्ण कँडेल हुनुहुन्थ्यो।
कार्यक्रममा ९ वर्षीय बालक शिव आचार्यले पनि शाही कदमका विरुध्द चर्चा गर्दै प्रजातन्त्रको विकल्प नभएको रोचक मन्तव्य व्यक्त गरेका थिए।
जुलुसमा नेपालप्रेमी अमेरिकी र अन्य विदेशी नागरिकहरुको समेत सहभागिता रहेको थियो। शाही कदमको विरोधमा आउँदो बुधबार फेव्रुअरी १ का दिन न्युयोर्क लगयातका अन्य राज्यहरुमा पनि विरोध र्याली हुने भएको छ।
फेव्रुअरी १ को शाही कदमको विरोधमा विश्वका विभिन्न २५ भन्दा बढी राष्ट्रहरुमा बसोबास गर्दै आएका नेपालीहरुले विरोध र्यालीको तयारी गरेको कुरा ती राष्ट्रहरुमा बसोबास गर्ने ४१ संस्थाहरुको संयुक्त विज्ञप्तिमा जनाइएको छ। समाचार स्रोतः ईमेल

मेयर उम्मेदवारलाई गोली प्रहार ।
चितवन डट कम प्रतिनिधि , ललितपुर । माघ १७ , माओवादीका कार्यकर्ताले ललितपुर नगरपालिकाका मेयरका स्वतन्त्र उम्मदेवारलाई गोली हानी ढालेको समाचार भर्खर प्राप्त भएको छ । ललिपुर नपाको लागि मेयर पदमा उम्मेदवार दिने दल वहादुर र्राईलाई माओवादीले मानभवन ललितपुरमा आज दिउसो गोली हानेका थिए । र्राईको ढाडमा गोली लागेको छ । घर र्फकदै गर्दा सोमवार दिउसो २.३० वजे दुइ जनाको सख्यामा आएका माओवादीले टाढावाट गोली प्रहार गरिएको थिए । हाम्रा समाचारदाताका अनुसार राइलार्य उपचार्रार्थ पाटन अस्पतालमा भर्ना गरिएको छ ।
यस सम्वन्धमा अहिले सम्म माओवादीले कुनै प्रतिकृया वाहिर आएको छैन र गोली प्रहारको समेत माओवादीले जिम्मा लिएको छैन । केही समय पहिला माओवादीले जनकपुरका सम्भावित मेयरका उम्मेदवारको पनि गोली हानी हत्या गरेका थिए तर त्यसको पनि आधिकारीक जिम्मेवारी माओवादीले लिएको थिएन ।
नगर निर्वाचन नजिकिदै गर्दा मेयरको उम्मेदवारको गोलीहानी हत्या गर्ने प्रयास गरिएको यो पहिलो हो । सुरक्षाको कारण देखाउदै सरकारले प्राय उम्मेदवारलाई सुरक्षाको घेरामा राखेको छ ।

everything above a thresold ethics is fine with me when it comes to opposing the non-sense king of nepal, but I want them to avoid mis-use of kids. Here in the news, it talks about 9 year old kid talking against king. He was not talking on his own, but he was talking what his parents or peer asked him to talk. As a minor, he should not have been asked to speak publicly on issues probably he does not much about Nepal. Such precedence leads others to use kids in their political campaigns and this is we were opposing the misuse of kids in Nepal especially maoists. If the kids Bhasad in DC is justified, why not Maoists claim their use of kids in their armed force, thats just one step ahead, thats what Maoists will say. Can the DC organizer oppose?
We should set thresold standard and we don’t cross the line even in extreme situation. Thats what our moral should say.
One more thing, I hate the way ANA and other America based Nepali organizations conduct elections within their organizations, did you see the way election is conducted in last ANA’s exe.com, it was a joke. The proposers and candidate were from one family, and it was not different from Kamal Thapa’s current election. What i want to convey here is that these Nepali organizations should also be more open and reach beyond their close coteire “kothi” and conduct free and open election, show a respect to intra-organization democracy/freedom. They are not model leaders to me so far, when I see their close minded selfish election procedures inside the organization they lead or represent. Its a time to point their mistakes, and I wish they change their Gyanendra Mentality within their organization, too.

In my opinion we are all nepali people without parrent because we are uncontrol and there isn,t sure about the our distination and we can say about the our life where it will end these are all accident are on the head of government or on the king but king isn’t divotited in this case so that king isn’t good for nepali people and about our develop so that we must leave to the king because we can live without king at this time there is not meaning of king so that we must accept the agendom of politician and maosist “12 bude”it is solution of every accident but we must to remove to king gyanendra from our country
